We really love what we do !!
This is Sherlock, mischief asleep!
Nabwood Luxury Cats Lodge is a purpose-built cattery which boasts 6 double chalets and one family chalet for up to 4 cats.
All chalets have a full height doorway and two interior shelves. A fully opening window leading to the sunning shelf and ladder is a favourite place to be!
A 4ft Walk in Chalet will accommodate two cats from the same family.
Each chalet has a pet cassette which produces an even radiant heat that is maintained at a safe level by an internal thermostat, ensuring a gentle efficient distribution of warmth over a wide area.
Each chalet has two removable UPVC shelves, a fully adjustable air vent, lockable cat flap and a fully opening window leading to a sunning shelf.
The exercise areas have a full height sneeze barrier between each pen can which are solid white at the bottom and clear panels at the top. This allows any nervous cats to have privacy but when they want to venture out; they can sit on their sunning shelves and check out the action in the neighbouring pens.
A 6ft long exercise area gives your cats plenty of space to explore and relax. A second sunning shelf provides another area to watch the world go by as it is near the front of the pen providing the perfect view point for whatever is going on in the safety passage and outside.
All our pens are suitable for cats with reduced mobility.
The chalets are built to International Cat Care standards, formerly known as the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) requirements by Lindee Lu, the premier cattery manufacturer.
At Nabwood Luxury Cats Lodge we understand that each cat is individual. We have an extensive range of cat foods to suit your cats dietary requirements. If your cat is prescribed food from the vet then please bring this with you on the day you arrive as we cannot provide prescription diets.
You are also welcome to bring your cat's own familiar food if you prefer.
Adult cats are fed twice daily, and, if given consent, we provide them with a daily treat! This can include cooked chicken, white fish or tuna.
We know that cats graze throughout the day, so we only remove food when then the next meal arrives.
Kittens and senior cats are fed according to their specific requirements, and this information needs to be provided during the booking process.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cats suffering with infectious illnesses or fleas. All cats will be examined upon arrival and in order to maintain our health and safety standards, we reserve the right to refuse admission to a cat showing signs of ill health. If your cat needs medication for a non-contagious health condition we are happy to administer this free of charge if you bring their medication during their stay, details to be provided during the booking process.
Diabetic cats are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, please ring us for more information.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept male cats over the age of 6 months unless they have been neutered, this is because an unneutered male cat can present as an infection hazard.
We request that all cats coming into the cattery are up to date with flea and worming treatment for their own protection as well as for the protection of others. We prefer to administer both flea and worming treatment if necessary on arrival if your cat is not up to date. This is not only for your cat’s protection but also for the protection of the other cats in the cattery.
We charge for this service.
